We are looking for a project engineer with a lot of initiative, good communication skills and the technical expertise to develop aluminum joinery solutions for project and high-rise buildings.
Our projects range from apartment buildings, school buildings to towering skyscrapers all over the world.

As a project engineer, you will be responsible for the technical development of solutions that fall outside our standard systems. No worries, thanks to your creative ideas we can meet the wishes of the architect and client, from specifications over extreme dimensions to spectacular designs. You still have to keep an eye on performance requirements, such as thermal requirements and wind loads. You give advice on pricing and check your proposals with the (internal) client. With your communication skills you build contacts with the (internal) customers.

If the project is won, you are the lucky one to follow it up during the execution. You are the go-to person for the technical draftsman, who among other things makes the specifications for the mold drawing. You will also take care of the start-up of project articles, make up production details and instructions and as icing on the cake, you will supervise the first set-up and tests.

Of course, you will not face this challenge alone. You will receive the necessary guidance and training and you can always fall back on your fellow Project Engineers. Moreover, we work closely with other technical services such as Research, Development and Technology Centre for the tests (a.o. Air Wind Water tests).

We work with drawing programs such as Autocad (2D) & Inventor (3D) and to check the stability, we have statics software such as Rstab and Rfem.

Who are you?

• You have at least 5 years of experience within the construction industry.
• You have a Master's degree in Construction Engineering or Electromechanics.
• You enjoy working in an international environment and communicate fluently in English.
• You are only satisfied when your client is satisfied: he comes first for you.
• Regular travel abroad is not a problem for you.
• Knowledge of Autocad/ Inventor & statics software.
