EU Service Team Leader

Job description

In the European countries where Atlas Copco Rental is active, we have Service Engineers working to satisfy our customers on a daily basis. To support with larger projects, or jobs that require certain specific knowledge or experience, we also have a team of dedicated Service Engineers that continuously support our colleagues and customers across Europe. The position of EU Service Team Leader is leading part of this team.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Managing a team of European technicians
• Planning their projects schedule throughout the year
• Ensuring an efficient deployment, linked to availability, knowledge and experience
• Taking responsible for their KPIs such as reporting efficiency, service reliability.
• Cooperating with the other Service team leaders in order to cover all European projects needs for technicians; Doing so, you take responsibility for EU Service Engineers that are not reporting to you hierarchically as well
• Taking responsibility for the competence mapping and development of the team to ensure they continue to grow knowledge, experience and capacities
• Competence ownership of Service KPI’s and processes, including providing training to other supervisors

In this position, you report to the Service Manager Europe and are located in the EU HQ in Boom, Belgium.

Educational, Knowledge and experience requirements

You have obtained a technically oriented bachelor degree or equivalent through experience, and are fluent in Dutch & English.

Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are required.

You have a sound knowledge of the MS office suit and experience working with an ERP system.

You have excellent planning and coordinating skills and know how to enthusiasm a team.

You are flexible to travel on a regular basis to the different Rental depots or ongoing projects in Europe.
