SALES & MARKETING DIRECTOR EUROPE

 

You report to the Vice President of the SBU Upstream, you are a Member of the Upstream Leadership Team and you are responsible both for developing and implementing Sales and Marketing Europe strategies for Upstream and to deliver the annual sales budget.

Your key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales revenues and market share targets across the designated regions.
• Collaborate with each member of the Upstream Leadership Team to ensure alignment for common goals and strategies for the SBU.

  Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, architects, contractors, and industry influencers to drive customer loyalty and secure new business opportunities.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the sales teams, around 150 people, in each country across Europe to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide strong leadership, guidance, and coaching to the sales and marketing teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Develop talent within the team, identify skill gaps, and provide training and development opportunities to enhance overall capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Sales and Marketing Director in similar leadership role within glass industry or companies related to glass industry channel.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets, driving business growth, and expanding market share.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and anticipate the most effective strategies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.

The position offers certain flexibility across Europe, as the preferred option be based at our European headquarters in Louvain la Neuve (Belgium), but also possible in one of our main locations within Europe.
